Present: Jerry Thome, Bob McDonald, Jim Rappl, Anita Thomson, Dan Bauman, Andy Prince, Kip Decker, Ruth and John Cristiano, and Susan Kulkarni
Rechartering. The rechartering process is finished. Troop 81 officially has 35 Scouts. Seventeen Scouts are members of the Order of the Arrow.
Bob McDonald is replacing George Bureau as Committee Chairman. George will stay on as an Assistant Scoutmaster.
.Jan. 19-21 Winter Scout Outing to Gardner Dam. Eight Scouts built 2 Quinzy Huts of snow and sticks to sleep in for one night out in the cold
Feb. 10 Ski Outing to Granite Peak. Seven Scouts braved the 10 deg. temperatures for a fun day on the mountain.
March 10 Eagle Quest at Spring Road School.
March 17-18 Lock-In at Appleton YMCA. We will be at the Y from 10:00 pm Sat. to 7:00 am Sunday. Adults will be needed as drivers and chaperones. Scouts will have 3 hours in the pool and access to the gym and big screen TV and game rooms. Cost will be $20 per Scout, adults free. Scouts may bring movies rated PG or PG13 and snacks. They should bring a sleeping bag and pillow, swimwear and a towel, and gym clothes and tennis shoes.
March 24th Sack it to Goodwill. We will meet in the morning in the Spring Road parking lot to distribute maps. Scouts and drivers will be needed. Annual planning meeting will be held from noon to 4:00 p.m. Scout Patrol Leaders and Adult Leaders should attend.
April 2 Court of Honor at 7:00 p.m. at Spring Road School.
April 16 7:00 p.m. swimming at the Neenah Pool.
April 20-22 New Scout Outing at Maywood.
May 25-28 Camping at Porcupines
June 17 -23 Scout Leadership Training at Gardner Dam Camp.
July 22-28 Scout Summer Camp at Gardner Dam. The first half of the payment ($95) is due to Anita Thomson by Feb. 28. The second payment ($90) is due April 30. Anita lives at 1510 Whitetail Dr. in Neenah (727-0883).
Next Troop Meeting: Feb. 19th at Spring Road School at 7:00 p.m. Cub Scout crossover ceremonies start this week, so keep an eye out for new Boy Scouts.

Committee Meeting Minutes
November 13, 2006
Present: Jerry Thome, Bob MacDonald, Jim Rappl, Dan Bauman, Chris Hillen, Andrew Prince, Tom Knott, Kip Decker, and Susan Kulkarni
Finance: Tom deposited $5617 and wrote checks for 3531.19. He is waiting for the first bank statement to be mailed to him. The addresses and signatures have been changed on the account. We still need to change addresses for the statements from the Scout Office. Tom will set up escrow accounts from the popcorn sales this year.
Nov. Outing to Gardner Dam with Webelos II: The outing went well. We had 23 Webelos II attend and make arrows. Michael Greif won the throwing contest with his tribochet and Luke Scudder won the dessert contest with his velvet cake. Two Nescoes and and two coffeepots were bought for the troop.
Library: Jerry Thome has the information to track down all of the library materials currently checked out. He will inventory the library with book and edition number. We will look into updating some of the materials. In the process of tracking down library materials two old tents were found and returned. Please check your bookshelves, basements and garages for items that may belong to the troop.
Rechartering. Our rechartering process needs to be completed by Feb. John Christiano and Kent Powley will be asked to lead. The troop membership fee will be $40 per scout.
Dec. Outing: The Dec. outing will be a trip to the Weiss Earth Science Museum and the Barlow Planetarium at UW Fox Valley on Dec. 2. Permission slips must be turned in to Chris Hillen by Sun. Nov. 26. This is the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so please be prompt. The scouts can work on the Geology merit badge. Parents will be needed to chaperone and drive the scouts to lunch. Adults will have to pay museum entrance fees.
Next Troop Meeting: Monday Nov. 20 at 7:00 at Spring Road School. Patrols will work on Patrol flags and lashings. Hope to see you then.
